What emotions does the term "Sunday School" evoke in you? Perhaps it brings up positive images of singing together as a child, learning Bible stories and talking about Jesus. Perhaps it brings up thoughts about the long tradition of Sunday School that has been so important in churches since the 19th century. Whatever the images and thoughts that come to mind when you think about Sunday School, we at Auburn hope that our kids' programming goes a step further than most!
Superchurch aims to make Sunday mornings the most exciting time of your kids' week. By drawing from experience with camp and vacation Bible school ministries, we seek to create an energetic, dynamic experience for kids of all ages. Fueled by gift-based ministry from our adult and teen volunteers, Superchurch will both engage and immerse members in God's word, bringing the Bible to life and helping them to learn that through Jesus' work and the power of the Spirit, they, too, can unlock the secret life of their inner super-hero.
Superchurch runs from 10:00-11:30 AM most Sundays, alongside our adult worship service. Kids are invited to join with the congregation for the first few songs, and will be released to go downstairs a short way into the morning.
